THANK YOU!

Wow.
What an incredible day we all had at Ontario Place last Saturday!

God gave us a beautiful blue sky, warm sunshine and soft breezes from the lake – perfect.  The red cheeks on faces Saturday evening were plentiful, along with the energy and expectancy as thousands gathered to sing and worship in the Molson Amphitheatre.

It would be so great to hear back from some of you who were there enjoying the entire day at Ontario Place, or perhaps standing in line all day to grab seats for the evening at Molson Amphitheatre.  To leave a comment, simply click on “read more” at the bottom of this blog…

A huge THANK YOU to all who came! You showed courtesy and respect, and were true examples of the love of Jesus during your fun-filled day.  Thanks for making Christian Heritage day a big success again!

we look forward to hearing from some of you...

A group of us had attended the Heritage Day at Ontario Place on Saturday, June 6th, 2009. For the most part, it was a great day and we enjoyed the music, shows, and attractions. I do have one suggestion for future Heritage Days.

Our Group had purchase a block of 40 tickets for Bluetree and the Hillsong United Worship Service. These tickets were in the 200 level and each ticket had a seat number printed on the ticket. We assumed we had seats all together. Would you not think the same? To our surprise, it was "General Admission" which caused chaos in finding a place to sit. I had asked a few people to see their tickets and some of these people had tickets for the 100 level and were not to be in the 200 level section. It was very disappointing not to sit with our group and unsettling in the fact that the tickets had assigned seating. Why was this not put into play? It would have made it a better experience for all. Instead many people were put out in many different ways. I had spoke with one of the workers/ushers in the Molson Centre and this person was not impressed with the pushing and shoving of people that took place in scurrying to find seats.

I hope when we attend Heritage Day next year, you will have altered this "General Admissions" and allowed us to use the assigned seating on our tickets.

The I-HEART documentary – Following worship band UNITED on their journey of discovery that WORSHIP and JUSTICE are inexplicably linked... “If what we (UNITED) are doing inside the church walls is having no effect on the streets we travelled to get there, then maybe we're missing the point?"

We're All In This Together is a documentary featuring the Hillsong UNITED Crew. It's about many stories encountered along the way that all lead to the ONE story. It's about justice, love and a hope found in God through His people.

With interviews and animation, it's not the same as part1 - With Hearts As One... that was the music... The united voice.

This is the story - the united action - the heart behind The I Heart Revolution... Of which we're all a part.
